Product details

Versatile zoom lens for Nikon DSLR cameras with an FX-format image sensor. The successful balance of compact design and flexible zoom range makes it the ideal all-round lens.

The focal length range of 24 to 85 mm easily covers the most common focal lengths from wide-angle to telephoto. The Nikon image stabilizer ensures sharp, shake-free images. The elaborate optical construction with an ED glass lens delivers sharp, brilliant images even at maximum aperture. The image stabilizer (VR II) allows for shake-free handheld shots and enables you to shoot with exposure times up to 4.0 stops longer. The high-quality SIC coating (Nikon Super Integrated Coating) minimizes ghosting and stray light, providing outstanding color reproduction.

An ED glass lens (Extra-low Dispersion) and three aspherical lenses contribute to excellent imaging performance with high resolution and brilliant contrast, while minimizing aberrations and distortions. Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quiet and precise autofocus. Lightweight and compact housing. Bayonet mount with rubber sealing ring for protection against dust and moisture.

Rank 5 out of 5CHIP OnlineNikon Vollformat: Die besten Standard-Zoom-Objektive im Test und VergleichReleaseJanuary 2015
