The Palmer Duetto is a compact mixer. The inputs are specifically designed for electric guitars in terms of level and impedance, but they also work equally well with other instruments and devices that provide line level.

The Duetto allows for the active mixing of two sources into a common amplifier input. Each input has a volume potentiometer, enabling the adjustment of different levels to match each other. The Duetto is typically used when guitar teachers and students want to play through a shared amplifier with only one input. However, its applications are versatile; for example, the mini mixer can also be used as a cable driver, mono summing device, or recording preamp.

Due to its low power consumption, the Duetto can be powered for many hours with a 9V battery. Additionally, there is a DC socket for a power adapter.
