The PRMMS8 is an extremely low-noise 19" microphone splitter with 8 balanced XLR inputs, each routed to a direct output and a transformer-isolated output. For flexible use, four LINK switches on the front allow for the combination of two channels each. This enables one input signal to be routed to four outputs for mixing consoles for FOH, monitoring, recording, and wireless transmission, or two input signals to be combined into one output signal. Condenser microphones can be powered via the direct outputs with phantom power. Each channel is equipped with a ground lift to prevent hum and interference that can arise from double grounding of connected power supplies.
