The hot melt adhesive inside seals waterproof when properly overlapped – the solder ring connects the two conductors during the shrinking and melting process. Ideal for repairing cables and wires (lawn mower search cables, signal lines, etc.), service, manufacturing, or hobbies. The application is very simple: strip the cables and insert them into the connector from both sides until the stripped ends overlap or twist under the solder ring. Heat evenly in the melting temperature range until the solder melts – ideally using a heat gun, hot air blower, or hair dryer. Allow to cool immediately, perform a visual inspection, and you're done.
