I also thought about whether I wanted to buy the camera at that price or whether I should wait. It's always the same question: do you want to wait until the price drops or be one of the first? I also considered the new Fujifilm X-T2 and the Sony, and finally bought the Oly and haven't regretted it for a moment. I had the previous OMD M1, which I was very happy with, and this camera is in a league of its own.
The speed (ProCapure) is hard to beat and the camera is also very convincing in other respects. As I travel a lot, I didn't opt for the set with the 12-40 lens but bought the body with the new Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12-100mm f/4.0 IS PRO. I am completely satisfied with it

Good camera, very suitable for telephoto shots due to the Kropp factor.

As I already owned the OM-D-E-M1, I was able to make a good comparison.
The finish is superb. The grip has been improved a bit. I especially like the programmable buttons and the adjustable control screen. It is very fast at focusing and for burst shooting. I use it with a Zuiko ED 25 mm Pro 1.2 lens and a Zuiko ED 12-40 mm Pro 2.8 zoom lens. Daylight and indoor shots without flash are simply amazing.
