Excellent price-performance ratio
Coffee loses aroma very quickly after grinding. It is therefore recommended to always grind the beans fresh (and only just as much as is needed). With the Rommelsbacher EKM300 you can always grind fresh, even on a small budget. We use the grinder in combination with a Bialetti and are thrilled by the quality gain through the freshly ground coffee. Whether the EKM300 works in conjunction with a portafilter machine (extraction time, channeling, etc.) we can not judge. However, we can say that the combination EKM300 / Bialetti works very well with the Seehallenmischung of Onesto or the bean blend Rosso of Dreiherzen ;-)

Plastic container is highly static and as a result super messy. The beans do not go down the container into the grinder part very easily and so I need to insert a utensil to coax the beans down. Terrible.

Affordable coffee grinder for everyday use
Inexpensive coffee grinder with cone grinder, which I have been using continuously for over 4 years. I have made over 1,000 Bialetti (grind level 4) with it, as well as cold brew (grind level 10) and Turkish coffee (grind level 1). It can handle all the grinds you need for the most common preparation methods (except for portafilter, where you need a grinder that can grind finer). I am very satisfied :)
