The Rode Blimp is a professional basket windscreen system featuring the Rode Wombat fur windscreen. This basket windscreen system can be used with a variety of shotgun microphones with a maximum length of 325 mm. The Blimp includes an integrated XLR connection cable as well as an angle-adjustable pistol grip with an XLR socket in the base. The acoustically transparent Dead Wombat fur windscreen is included.

The Rode universal Blimp Mount is a mounting adapter for the Rode Blimp windscreen system. The universal Blimp Mount allows for the attachment of the Blimp to a 3/8" thread, such as on a boom pole, a light stand, or other mounts with a 3/8" thread. When the universal Blimp Mount is used with a boom pole and the Blimp basket windscreen, it replaces the handle of the Blimp, providing greater stability and more comfortable handling of the boom pole.
