The Rode VideoMic can be easily attached to video cameras using the included hot shoe adapter. The integrated Rycote mount effectively decouples the microphone from handling and motor noises, significantly improving sound transmission quality. The supercardioid pickup pattern ensures that the VideoMic is insensitive to sound coming from the sides, focusing on the audio captured within the camera's frame.
