This USB hub features 100W USB Power Delivery 3.0 Pass-Through (85W laptop load). Connect a power source to the PD passthrough port to power the connected host device. PD 3.0 includes Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data interruption when switching power sources (from USB-C power supply to bus power). This power is dynamically distributed to the downstream ports. For additional protection of the USB hub and all connected devices, the USB hub has an Overcurrent Protection (OCP) feature. OCP prevents faulty USB peripherals from drawing more power than is safely allocated to them.
