As a last resort in her distress, Sophie sees the journey to the seclusion of the Waldviertel, where an old healer lives who is said to be able to help in the most hopeless cases. The rules of the game are simple: with a tin of tobacco, a bottle of schnapps and coffee, you visit the hermit with the old knowledge of the Jenics and from now on follow her irritating instructions. Sceptical at first, Sophie gets involved with the gruff old woman, in whose world there is no room for the stress of everyday life and the superiority of reason, which sometimes stands in the way of a life in harmony with oneself. She gets involved with the unknown, the incomprehensible with the only tangible.
