To protect the sticks from moisture, they are coated with a special wax. The sticks are produced using a special woodworking technique that protects the wood and enhances the fibers. Wincent addresses the common weak points of wooden sticks: the well-shaped and pleasant-sounding tip can deteriorate or become damaging due to sharp burrs, the conically shaped neck can fray from crash cymbals, and the rimshot area can develop sharp splinters over time.

To maintain the integrity of the tip, Wincent does not cut or saw it, which can create edges and cracks in the wood. Instead, they gently grind it down to shape with a stone, preserving the wood fibers. A special wax is applied to prevent notches and increase overall durability, providing a sealant that keeps the surface smooth. This wax, combined with optimized humidity, is hard enough for heavy playing yet flexible enough to withstand rim and cymbal hits.

The range of models offered is extensive. Wincent provides standard 7A, 5A, and 5B models as XL versions with the same diameter but increased length, and the 5B is also available as an XXL for added punch and reach. The 55 Fusion and 55 XL versions bridge the gap between the 5A and 5B models and their XL counterparts. The 7A XL, while shorter than the standard version, is very playable and, despite being a light stick, is a fully functional and versatile option.
