The Safety Pips is used for permanent monitoring of a wrist strap grounding. The connection line from the grounding point to the wrist strap and the contact of the wrist strap with the human skin are monitored. The monitoring is signaled visually and acoustically. Power is supplied by an integrated battery. The battery status is checked each time the device is switched on. The device switches on automatically when connected to the wrist strap.
