The AC-3 serves as an all-in-one solution for acoustic live performances and studio sessions. Its integrated preamp amplifies the guitar signal and includes a 3-band equalizer.

To enrich the sound, the AC-3 provides 9 customizable effects, including delay, chorus, and reverb. It also offers 16 source guitar presets that optimize the sound for various guitar types, such as dreadnought, nylon string, 12-string, or upright bass. Additionally, you can select between magnetic or piezo pickups for the best results.

The guitar sound can be further refined with 15 additional target guitar presets. For instance, if you play a Martin D18 Dreadnought guitar, you can select "Dreadnought" as the source preset and "D-Eighteen" as the target preset to accurately reflect your instrument's unique sound.

Like its predecessor, the AC-3 includes an efficient anti-feedback button and an integrated tuner. Power can be supplied via the included mains adapter, through a micro USB port, or with 2 AA batteries.
