Does the camera have an HDMI output that you can tap into, like the Go Pro? or USB so you can get the image to a device? i'd like to stream with it and tie the cable if i can. is that possible?

Hello , the Insta360 only has a usb C connection, the stream doesn't work yet, but it should change.
Since I primarily use my Insta while driving, e.g. when I'm out with Seven Club friends. I operate the Insta exclusively via iPad.  I then edit the scenes on the iPad and watch them on the TV via Apple TV, or save them on my server.
For me, it really is the best camera I know.
