For CHF 47, I find the product massively overpriced. If only it still had the quality for this steep price. The upper material dissolves after 2 years, ridiculous.

Can only agree with this.

Now it's CHF 50.10. :)

Just as a guess: Could the price increase be due to the fact that many warranty claims are now accumulating from orders placed about 2 years ago?

The replacement pads I bought then started to disintegrate and open at the "seam" again last week (again almost 2 years after purchase).

My 2018 order had the option to make a warranty claim valid, as there was a 2-year warranty on the purchase at the time (at a price of CHF 37.70). In my case, I was effectively able to make a warranty claim valid

Accordingly, there is no guarantee on the new purchase. I don't know if this has been abolished (by the manufacturer or Digitec) or if it only applies to credit purchases.

I agree, I generally support Swiss companies, but I contacted the Chinese wholesaler because of the exorbitant price. I got a top product at 1/8 of the price.

The pads can also be ordered via Bose support for 34€ (as of Sept.). However, this requires some Whatsapp communication, download the app and read out the serial number....

But during the warranty period (2 years, I think), replacement should actually be free - mine was already over that.

...and back to CHF 47.-, 1 day after I bought it and 3 days after it went up to CHF 50.10. Wtf.
