Given how many Digitec users are complaining about this model overheating, year after year, can someone recommend an alternative ? Are the GoPros 11 or 12 any more stable ? Or is there an alternative/better brand you'd suggest ?

I never had overheating problems with the Hero 10. I have plenty of problems with the Hero 11 Mini and Hero 11 Black.

I would rather get a hero 10 (with gps) or a hero 12 (no more gps inside).

So go for the Hero 10, good price - good quality.
