Question about Joby GorillaPod 3K Kit

Hoi Zämä. Does anyone happen to have experience with a DSLR and the 3K model. Specifically, I was thinking of my Canon 6D (approx. 750gr) and the Tamron 15-30 2.8 (approx. 1'100gr). Should fit, it's under 3K but how tight is the specification? Will the tripod also hold on trees, scaffolding etc.? Merci in advance and greetings Mirco

Salute,

Well, my setup doesn't weigh quite as much as yours (Fuji X-T2 507g + 50-140mm 995g), but the tripod holds the whole thing without any problems. I've also attached the tripod to trees, railings, etc., and the well rubberised balls hold it very well. But that was also with a lighter lens.
The only thing I had to tighten was the screws of the ball head, which had play...
