My experience with it: I have used this suction cup inside and outside on the windscreen/rear window, and also on the roof, without the videos being affected by vibration during "normal" driving.

However, there are various other aspects to consider, cars with a harder chassis and flatter tyres naturally tend to vibrate more, ultimately the driving distance/surface as well as the driving style are also decisive. The bonnet, doors and boot lid, for example, also tend to vibrate more than when you mount the cam on the vehicle frame.

I have experimented with a magnetic holder as well as with Velcro/adhesive holders, but I find the suction cup the simplest and most flexible solution here, without the vibration having a negative effect on 4K or FullHD videos.
