Question about Lenovo ThinkPad Workstation Dock

I have connected a ThinkBook with the station, which requires 230W and "only" has USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports. BIOS update made. 1. the screens are not recognised (even if I replace the supplied double cable with TB4 cable with a TB3 from another station). 2. the notebook always stays in battery mode even though I plugged in the supplied power plugs and TB4. 3. when I replace the TB4 cable with the aforementioned TB3 cable from another station, it switches to mains mode but undercharges and slowly loses battery. 4. if I connect another notebook (ThinkPad with 170W consumption) to the station, it works perfectly. Does anyone have similar problems? Can anyone help me?

The docking station's power delivery (PD) did not work properly for me either, so I sent it back. One possible explanation would be. The docking station does not deliver enough power via the Thunderbolt 4 connection; according to the specification, Thunderbolt 4 delivers "less than 100W". This is in contrast to USB-C, which can deliver up to 100W with the PD substandard.
Presumably the 230W laptop does not support USB-C, but only TB4, or the laptop has a defect. The device with 170W (peak power) can cope with less than 100W and charges.
