These docking stations have been on sale since 2018, so I was wondering if simply HP hadn't certified this on HP >100w laptops. The problem is actually quite simple... in terms of charging characteristics, a model like this would allow 200w charging via the detachable cable. The problem is that the power connector is the same, or there is another adapter, and that this does not pose a problem on the compatibility of the management of usb-c peripherals for accessories. I'm not sure it's a big deal to find another charger, but I thought it was interesting to be able to use the same station for charging as well with this little duplicate connector.
