What exactly does "Swiss goods" mean ? Is it a special version ?

Nikon didn't ask where my camera came from. It was repaired without any problems. It was bought in Germany. Is it a problem with Canon's warranty processing in particular? Most camera manufacturers offer worldwide guarantees...

Some products are imported and are cheaper, hence the note. In the case of products that are officially purchased in Switzerland, we customers usually have a better guarantee and these can often be extended if the product is registered with the manufacturer. The price of the product is therefore usually higher.

Officially purchased from a Swiss Canon distributor.
There are also some direct imports... They are probably bought abroad and are often simply cheaper...
They come from the same factory anyway.
The advantage of Swiss goods is usually the warranty, which is repaired by the official Canon service centre.
