Activities are running, aerobics, walking, workout, swimming, cycling, sports. So I assume that you can record cross-trainers and Pilates and "sport"

It has a lot to choose from - unfortunately I can't find a complete list (neither on the watch nor in the app) but if you google "Fitbit Inspire 3 What activities are there?" there is at least a small list. I searched in the app: Pilates is available, cross trainers too BUT strangely enough you have to enter "elliptical trainer" in the search in the app, then "cross trainer" appears in the search results, but if you enter "cross trainer" it doesn't find anything 🤷🏼‍♀️. You can also switch on smart detection on the watch, in which case it will recognise (more or less correctly!!) which sport you are currently doing.
