For the safety of your child:
WARNING: Never attach ribbons or strings to a soother, your child could be strangled. Inspect the soother before each use, especially if the child has teeth. Pull the dummy in all directions. Throw it away at the first sign of damage or defect.

Before using the soother for the first time, place it in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, let it cool down and squeeze out any remaining water. This is to ensure hygiene. Clean the soother before each use. Do not leave the soother in direct sunlight near a heat source or in a sterilising solution for longer than recommended as this can damage the teat. Never immerse the soother in sweet foods or medicines as this may cause tooth decay. Replace the soother after 1-2 months for safety and hygiene reasons.

If the whole soother gets into the child's mouth DO NOT PANIC it cannot be swallowed and is designed to withstand such an event. Remove it from the mouth carefully and as gently as possible.
