1 degree higher than reality
The thermometer reads 1 degree higher. We ended up twice in the emergency room with a temperature of 38 and once on site their thermometer showed 36.9. By reading the comments of other consumers (Amazon, galaxus, manor etc...) the problem is already known but the product continues to be sold! Unacceptable! There are other thermometers that are 3 times cheaper and of better quality! An advice run away from this product and do not buy!

Inaccurate - read the other reviews
This thermometer registered a temperature that was over 1 degree more than other thermometers. Used on 3 week old baby and it twice registered over 38 degrees when the other thermometer registered 37.0-37.2. I then checked other reviews on Galaxus, Amazon and Manor and saw many similar stories. This is completely unacceptable for a device like this, and can cause a lot of anxiety. DO NOT BUY!

Disappointing
I thought my baby had a temperature or a month. Until I brought this thermometer to the doctor's office and had a chance to compare. Reading from Braun was 38.3 (almost fever), reading from TWO other thermometers in the doctor's office showed the same 37.3 (perfectly normal T). I thought that my baby has fever for so long and gave him medicines that he didn't need!!! Disappointing, I thought I bought a reliable brand.

Fever gauge
Actually a great thermometer, you can set the age and it shows in colour whether the temperature is elevated (from 37.6 orange / from 38.6 red / otherwise green).
Unfortunately, the thermometer takes a very long time to measure the temperature, if you have a restless baby (rectal measurement) it is unfortunately too long. I also often experienced that the temperature was quite high with my baby, then I measured it several times and it always showed a different temperature. Sometimes a difference of 1 degree.
