At around six months, your baby's back and spine are developed enough for them to hold their head up independently and start sitting on their own. This is the right time to swap the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set for the Tripp Trapp Baby Set. It has been specifically designed for babies and toddlers, allowing them to sit safely and comfortably at the table while learning social, language, and fine motor skills from others.

The Baby Set consists of a backrest and a safety rail. Children can use the Tripp Trapp with the Baby Set as soon as they can sit upright without assistance, typically from 6 to 9 months. It can be used until the child is around 3 years old; during this time, the child sits securely and is protected from slipping through. The Baby Set is available in the same colors as the Tripp Trapp chair and is dishwasher safe.

The Tripp Trapp Baby Set can be used with all Tripp Trapp chairs manufactured after May 2003 that have a serial number starting with 3, 4, or 5. It can also be used with the Tripp Trapp Exclusive range.
