Instead of a chain pull, the motor is inserted into the roller tube. The roller can be conveniently controlled via remote control or through the Smart Life app, which can be downloaded for free. Devices from other manufacturers that have a Tuya chip can also be controlled through this app, making the smart home easily expandable at any time. Voice control with Google Home and Alexa is also possible. To control via the app, the GARDINIA Wi-Fi Bridge is required. The roller motor has no visible and thus distracting antenna cable. Additionally, it operates pleasantly quietly. It can be charged with a USB charger for mobile phones. A 3-meter USB cable is available as an option. Depending on the frequency of use, as well as the weight and size of the fabric, a roller can be operated for several months with just one battery charge. The motor can be installed on either the right or left side of the roller. Position the motor so that the charging port and programming button are accessible. A special advantage is the programmability of the motor. The end positions can be set via remote control or the Smart Life app. End positions are the points at which the roller should automatically stop. With the remote control, additional intermediate stops can also be set. The motor is only suitable for indoor use. Charger, remote control, Wi-Fi Bridge, and 3 m extension cable are not included with the roller motor.
