Kähler Design - Astro Zodiac Figure Pisces "Fishes"

The sculptor Malene Bjelke drew inspiration from Kähler's long-standing history for the Astro sculptures. The result is 12 sculptures dedicated to the 12 zodiac signs. In addition to their spiritual focus, the sculptures represent a modern interpretation of Kähler's design heritage, which began as a Danish pottery workshop.

With their deliberately raw design, the naturalistic details of the figures gain a special dynamism and can be viewed from any angle. The energy of the characteristic traits of each zodiac sign is expressed through the design of the sculptures.

In the Astro sculpture Pisces, the expression of the figure is defined by the word intuition, which points to the unique qualities of this zodiac sign.

All zodiac figures are made from white, unglazed stoneware and feature a silhouette-like shape.
