Large radio clock 50x50 cm with battery operation. Radio clock DCF77 operates on 2x 1.5 V batteries and is designed for indoor use. It weighs approximately 4.8 kg and has dimensions of 50x50x10 cm. The sturdy aluminum housing is painted white (RAL 9016) and features front glass made of Plexiglas XT. An optional ball-proof design is available with 2-pane laminated safety glass.

The dial has a very clear metal surface with a print diameter of 42 cm, ensuring readability from a greater distance, approximately 30 m in illuminated rooms. The clock face is painted white with black Arabic numerals or black DIN bars, in accordance with DIN 41 091. The black bar display indicates hours and minutes, with an optional ball impact resistant version available.

This clock is suitable for use in gymnasiums and sports halls, featuring a robust housing with a lever-out safe 3-point fixing and 6 mm thick 2-pane laminated safety glass. It boasts very solid workmanship according to DIN 18 032, Part 3, with an optional damp room version.

The encapsulated clock movement has a protection class of IP 54 EN 60 529, providing complete protection against contact and dust deposits inside, as well as splash water from any angle. It is moisture and dust protected and is only suitable for indoor use. The radio clock DCF77 is synchronized by the time signal transmitter DCF77 in Mainflingen, ensuring the time is always correct to the second. The time setting and summer-winter time changeover are fully automatic, and due to battery operation, the large-area wall clock can be operated independently of the mains.
