Question about Tojo V

So I got the Tojo now. It looks good. But now I assume that I lay the blocks across the long side of the mattress and not parallel, as described in the picture above. How is that supposed to work, if the bed can be extended to 172 max and you lay the blocks parallel, the mattress would also only have to be 172 max 180? Or how should this picture be understood?

So the blocks are across the long side in all the pictures and that's how it works. We are happy with the bed, or rather, our son is happy to enlarge his bed or his room :)

We have two 90x200 mattresses on the Tojo and it works fine (it goes slightly over with 5cm on each side, but that hardly bothers us). The width is variable - so yes, the mattresses lie across the beams. So we can variably make a single bed or a double bed out of it. The length is 1.90m, isn't it?
