Ceramic glass rings for the equipment of aquarium internal or external filters

Mechanically acting filter media are primarily used to remove suspended particles.

Ceramic rings create turbulence in the filter basket due to their special shape and large surface area. This allows suspended particles to settle during their descent, and coarse dirt particles are removed from the water cycle.

This highly porous design offers more than double the colonization area for bacteria compared to conventional ceramic rings, while also providing optimal conditions for the settlement of filter bacteria, thereby reducing nitrite spikes more effectively than traditional filter materials.

Due to their small size, ceramic rings can be used even in the smallest components of internal, external, and cascade filters.

1 package suitable for approximately 1500 m³ of water and should be cleaned at regular intervals. Replacement is only necessary in the case of significant mechanical damage.
