With rechargeable batteries, I got the message that they were empty after 2 days.
I switched to normal batteries precisely because of this.

The operating instructions also say not to use rechargeable batteries.

Or a good month for rechargeable batteries, which is worth it in the long run.

Several months is a really long time.
