Tools Design takes its inspiration from the shape of a sprouting garlic bulb for the Danish brand Eva Solo. While the mouth-blown glass bulb visibly and attractively stores individual garlic cloves, the metal press traces the stylised green of the garlic bulb. The stainless steel kitchen tool sits comfortably in the hand and its wide wings make it easier to squeeze the cloves. Inside, an unusual cutting blade neatly separates the skin from the flesh, and the residue can be easily rinsed off under running water. What's more, the garlic press and glass jug from Eva Solo are also happy to be put through the dishwasher from time to time.
