F. Dick Magneto Steel - The Whetstone Replacement

Friedr. Dick presents a new member of the "Rapid Steel" family: the functional "Magneto Steel." This product was designed in collaboration with a design office and shaped in cooperation with professionals from the butchering industry, refined through extensive practical testing, and brought to production readiness.

The ease of use is convincing here as well: a simple pull-through leads to the optimal edge. The integrated magnets ensure that the knife is held at a precise angle during sharpening. The result is a precise edge with the optimal angle. The spring mechanisms show no measurable wear, and the proven sharpening rods made of stainless steel remain unchanged.

The Magneto Steel HyperDrill features super-fine sharpening rods for honing and smoothing. New are the stainless steel protective plates; they securely guide the knife in the sharpening unit and prevent plastic debris from contaminating the meat. At the same time, the protective plates provide a polishing effect without damaging the knife's edge during the pull-through. Grip recesses on the front ensure optimal handling and a secure hold, even when wearing gloves.

The device's mechanics are firmly sealed, making it particularly safe from external influences. The Magneto Steel can be used as a handheld device or mounted at a workstation. For this purpose, two mounting holes are located at the bottom of the device. The two fastening loops in the upper grip area allow the device to be chained or secured with a lock to prevent theft.
