Insert the bias tape from the outside into the holder, into the slot that matches the width of the bias tape, and pull it under the presser foot. Place the edge to be bound into the recess on the left side of the holder. Loosen the screw at the back top of the presser foot and adjust the holder as needed based on the width of the binding.
