Essence Glass Series – Sherry Glass Set of 2. Alfredo Häberli designed this glass series for the Finnish tableware manufacturer iittala with the idea that they should create an appealing and balanced ensemble on the table. The usual "up" and "down" in the height of the glasses, which can appear messy, should not disrupt an elegantly set table. Therefore, Alfredo Häberli made the bases and stems of the glasses the same length. Even the proportions of the bowls are similar: the red wine glass has a consistently wider bowl diameter than the white wine glass, which Häberli designed to be just slightly wider than the typical "champagne flute." The only exception is the small sherry glass. All Essence glasses from iittala are dishwasher safe and can be securely grasped due to their flat, slightly curved glass shape.
