The exclusive Magnesiumactive formula of LAICA's cartridges increases the natural magnesium concentration in water and reduces unwanted substances, such as certain heavy metals. Additionally, it lowers the levels of chlorine and chlorine compounds (e.g., trihalomethanes) as well as some pesticides and herbicides, if present in the tap water.
