Miele Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog
Miele Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog
Three repairs within two years. Despite the fact that I didn't want an exchange unit 3 times, but wanted to get my money back, they simply sent me a new unit.
6-8 weeks repair time is simply too long and the pet hair brush only works for a few days, despite regular removal of all pet hair.
Both brushes are constantly not working.

This appliance is a complete rip off and the spares extremely expensive, would never buy Miele again (and poor service from Miele)!!!!

I bought this hoover for our family - 2 adults, 1 child, 2 dogs (shorthair) and 2 cats (shorthair). The hoover is used about 2-3 times a week, in the meantime an iRobot takes care of the floor.
I decided to buy a cordless hoover in the higher price segment because we live in an older house with lots of stairs and few sockets and I wanted to buy quality...
After a year, I can only say that I'm going back to a normal 0815 hoover.
The nozzle of the Triflex is coarse/you can only get under high furniture. My wife's (admittedly rather long) hair gets caught in the brush on the floor.
Corners are also no friend of the nozzle, you have to clean them by hand.
The nozzle also keeps getting clogged with hair/dust/dirt, so you have to use a wire to clear the nozzle.
The hoover is quite heavy if you have the motor mounted on top (the bottom doesn't help, however, as otherwise you can't get under furniture etc.).
The suction power is ok on medium/high, but then of course the battery doesn't last long - on level one you tend to push the dirt in front of you.
Positive: The battery as such has no significant loss of performance after a year.
So, to summarise: If you live in a city flat, as a single person (or with a partner with short hair), without pets and then have little furniture, this hoover is perfect.
For the rest: buy another hoover!

After reading a lot of positive reviews we bought this one after our Dyson V10 absolute,in hope it will be good for our big home with a big dog,but boy, were we wrong. Aside it’s heaviness,I’m not even near to be done with vacuuming my apartment ,the battery is dead, and it was on normal setting, the dust bin is the weirdest thing ever, just to complicated . We opted for V12 and works like a charm.

Really an imposition for this price. It's not the first battery hoover - but hey - emptying the much too small container is an imposition. It gets even better when you try to remove the fine filter. Although practically talented - the thing can only be opened with a lot of force. And because - in contrast to other appliances - Miele does not allow wet cleaning of the filters, you get a lot of dust in your ears. With Dyson you can do it wet. So it's totally impractical. Besides, it even has a third filter that you should clean (and remove). If you don't believe it - have fun when you try the fine dust filter for the first time... Unfortunately, I have already disposed of the package....or else the thing would be back immediately.
