The oven-safe glass lid from Skeppshult features a cast iron knob. The glass lid has been tested up to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, but it can withstand even higher temperatures.

The glass lid fits most 28 cm pans and pots. It is suitable for Skeppshult and Le Creuset in most cases. It can also be used on cookware from WMF, Fissler, Silit, Tefal, and Schulte Ufer. The glass lid is particularly recommended for Skeppshult pans 0005, 0130, 0285-T, and pot 0510.

For 28 cm grill pans, it is only recommended with limitations, as the edge measurement may vary slightly. The lid edge sits inside the pans 0028, 0028-T, and 0028-S, but the lid does not fit perfectly on grill pans. Due to its weight of one kilogram, the lid sits particularly well on pans and pots, with a slight play being normal.

The total height of the lid is 8 cm. In the center, the volume of the pan increases by about 4.5 cm. The Skeppshult glass lid has also been tested on 28 cm pans from Silit, WMF, Gastrolux, Woll, and Le Creuset. It can be used on all of them.
