Because none other than the well-known Dresden sommelier Silvio Nitzsche is responsible for its distinctive shape, which the Upper Franconian company Zieher realizes in best workmanship. In order to enjoy a good drop of wine over and over again, Zieher manufactures the decanter from robust, bubble-free borosilicate glass, also known as laboratory glass. The inwardly directed turbulence bodies drive the desired oxidation of the wine, whereby a filling of up to 1.5 litres achieves a sufficiently large surface for aeration with a few swivel pulls. The Eddy Wine Decanter stands securely on its base, but the decanter can also be placed at an angle using the ring supplied.
