I also only use water. The whole thing is for basic cleaning, if it's a real mess, then manual operation is the order of the day anyway.

You should not leave the tank permanently full. On the one hand, there is no real stuffing function in the system, which means that it always keeps the cloth moist, and on the other hand, it then drips in the station. Permanent moisture can lead to mould, which is not really conducive to cleaning.

Newer robot hoovers have separate containers that can be filled and refilled. In this case, it is better to do it manually if necessary. Overall, it is still a saving as you don't have to spend time cleaning yourself.

I don't do that, I googled it once and learnt the following: just drip the cleaning agent onto this white disposable "mop" pad, then you're on the safe side that nothing will break inside because of the wrong cleaning agent...
