The thermostat makes a loud clacking noise every time it is switched on. The noise of the compressor, on the other hand, is absolutely bearable. Definitely not for the bedroom. We have it in the living room and it cools the beer. It does a good job, although sometimes a little ice forms at the back of the cooling element when it is filled to the maximum. If you're looking for a quiet fridge, you have to get an absorber model.

It's not really suitable for the bedroom. We keep it in the attic. If we have guests, we unplug it. Otherwise, it is hardly noticeable. Occasionally it crackles or hums briefly, but that's not worth mentioning.
