The answer to this question depends on what you mean by "outdoor-ready". I think it would be able to withstand the weather without any problems. But I'm not sure if it's waterproof. I assume that due to the closing mechanism, water could definitely flow into the litter bin, but this is not a problem if it is placed under a roof, as you described. However, due to its price and also its appearance, the waste bin is probably designed more for indoor use.
