Is this filter good against limescale? or just chlorine etc? i have very hard water and am looking for a practical quick solution
We use this filter for the minerals and the reduced limescale content. As we are a household with over 80 houseplants, and plants don't like calcareous water.
The plants are showered regularly and we can see from the result that the leaves contain no trace of limescale. Nevertheless, we don't have this filter for our own hygiene. The disadvantage is that the filter has to be shaken regularly so that the water doesn't build up too much.
You notice this immediately, as without regular shaking, the shower pressure is greatly reduced.
👍🏻 We change the filter every 8 - 12 months, depending on use 🤗 handling is very simple
clearly 5 stars for our Jungle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
the filter filters limescale, chlorine etc. Difficult because of the hard water. There are big differences. I have Zurich water and it's good for this. The pipes/pipes are probably also an issue. I can't say in general whether it helps or not.
The harder the water, the sooner you have to change the filter.
Reduces a good bit of limescale deposits but not 100%. Lasts about 8 months for me and we have quite hard water.
This filter will certainly help for a year. Together with a magnetic field generator on the main water pipe, even better. But yes, limescale remains limescale. But you will certainly have better skin and hair with this limescale filter.
This is the 2nd Philips filter that I've used as a scale remover. It reduces deposits, but it's not a radical solution.
