The Acavallo® free-form pad for the withers is made of suede and hexagonal gel with a raised back, combining the non-slip, shock-absorbing, and breathable properties of the hexagonal gel with a suede coating on the underside. The non-slip, shock-absorbing hexagonal gel of this pad, along with a suede fabric on the bottom and a 4 mm thick open foam, ensures breathability and maximum comfort on the horse's back. Thanks to the hexagonal gel structure, air within the cells of the pad is compressed and automatically expelled when the horse moves, creating an air cushion under the saddle that is suitable for all styles and sizes of English saddles. The central area has a reduced thickness, allowing for better adaptation to the horse's withers and back, thus creating a larger space between the saddle and the gel, which permits continuous air circulation. The Acavallo® gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and does not react negatively upon skin contact. These properties allow for direct use of the pad in contact with the horse's skin.
