The Custom Fabric is an innovative technology that makes the backpack the most durable yet. In high-impact and abrasion areas, we use a triple ripstop 210D Robic Nylon UHMWPE exclusively for Granite Gear. The lid is fully removable to save weight and can be converted into an optional chest pouch that is worn on the front for even more accessible storage. A large, hidden vertical zipper now allows for quick access to the main compartment, especially to reach the contents at the bottom of the backpack.
