Dicota Code Backpack
Admittedly, I had false expectations of this backpack. I expected more space, but it was taken up by very generous padding. I was able to transport my computer without an additional cover, but not much more next to it. Since I nevertheless packed the rest of my materials for my studies, the backpack - exacerbated by being carried on only one shoulder a lot - showed weaknesses in the material on one strap.
In the end, I quickly decided to buy another backpack.

Great backpack for studying. It even survived an open air festival.

Looks stylish, has many compartments that protect the notebook and tablet very well. The integrated rain cover is very useful. But it is only useful for transporting tablet, notebook and (flat) books. If you take your lunch in Tupperware or want to go shopping quickly after work and want to stow everything in the backpack, I recommend sitting on it first so that everything fits in.

I got this backpack for everyday use for university and work, with the intention of bringing my laptop (14" Thinkpad X1 Carbon), lunch Tupperware, and occasionally language course textbook. My previous (messenger) back was only 6cm think, so I made sure to get a thicker backpack to not have problem with the lunch Tupperware and other contents of the bag.
When I received this bag, I was surprised by how much padding there was inside to protect the laptop pocket - it was taking like half of the overall thickness! It feels like the person who designed this bag was paranoid about laptop damage. I can't image a fall that this padding wouldn't protect the laptop from. It also means that despite its decent thickness, I once again have trouble fitting my lunchbox (and this is without any tablet). Furthermore, I found myself missing a pocket for documents - none of the compartments here are ideal for this. My language course textbook soon became rather bent. In the end, I wish they removed most of this padding and instead added a document compartment, or simply left more space for the existing compartments. In the present form, it feels like a waste of volume.
I must say that the backpack does look rather stylish (I got a lot of positive comments from acquaintances about it). Keep in mind the product dimensions - somehow it looked much smaller to me on the photos.
