The Windproof80 material is a nylon fabric with an elastane component, providing high flexibility. With 80% wind resistance, it is very robust yet lightweight, making it ideal for climbing as well. The very flat waistband with an integrated belt and the reversed zippers on the pockets add minimal bulk and do not interfere when wearing a backpack or climbing harness. The leg width can be adjusted with a zipper and a drawstring, and the inner leg sides are reinforced with abrasion-resistant Cordura.
