4. Kerbl Tubbease
Tubbease was developed in New Zealand with the aim of creating a breathable treatment shoe for problem hooves (e.g. sole ulcers) in horses. The included Velcro straps allow Tubbease to be optimally attached to the horse's leg. Tubbease is available in three sizes. Advantages of Tubbease: no hot and humid climate is created inside the shoe, as air can escape upwards. The rubber coated bottom part reliably prevents moisture from penetrating and at the same time ensures that the treatment fluid remains on the hoof. Due to the optimal climate in the shoe, the hoof retains its natural strength. A thick EVA insole reduces pressure pain on the horse (e.g. in case of sole ulcer) and prolongs the life of Tubbease. Usage
The hoof boot from Covalliero is made of extremely tear-resistant polyamide material and features a slip-resistant sole made of wear and abrasion-resistant plastic (TPU).
