Mediator is the combination of a self-locking emergency exit door lock with an electric door opener.

The closed door is always locked, but can be opened from the inside at any time and without a key. From the outside, it can be opened using a key through the change function or via the door opener.

Self-locking: The bolt and latch are locked. Mechanical control between the cross and control latch. Integrated emergency exit function via the inside handle.

The Mediator locks have a continuous handle socket (9 mm) and therefore require a change fitting, meaning an outside knob or push handle.

Please note: If the spindle length/distance is different, modifications are necessary. A power supply must be planned. Four connection wires are needed: two for power supply and two for control. A recess for the motor unit must be provided in the frame. Adjustment options for the strike plate/lock latch are available. Required distance between the latch and strike plate after installation: 2 - 5.5 mm.
