The frost mode adjusts the charging process for low temperatures. The AGM mode specifically adapts the charging process for AGM batteries. The fully automatic battery charging occurs in six stages: 1. Soft start, 2. Breaking down sulfation, 3. Achieving charging readiness, 4. Charging up to 80%, 5. Charging up to 100%, 6. Maintenance charging. An LED display provides information about the current charging step, charge level, charging mode, current strength, full charge, or incorrect connection. Modern safety technology includes reverse polarity protection, overheating protection, overload protection, and short circuit protection to safeguard you and the device from improper use. A fan is integrated for cooling when used with large batteries that require high charging currents. A highlight is the selectable 13.6V constant voltage output, which can be used as a power source and voltage holder during battery changes to prevent the loss of important electronic settings.
